As Microsoft’s April 12th event draws closer we are finally starting to get a few more details, thanks to CNET and the Wall Street Journal. Among the announcements are expected to be two new devices, which, as CNET puts it will “herald the introduction of Microsoft’s long-awaited new phones for the always-connected crowd.”
Pictured are the two likely devices, name the Pure and Turtle, both touch-screen enabled with full QWERTY keyboards. The OS is apparently a varient of Windows CE, so it is unknown whether these devices will include full compatibility with existing Windows Mobile applications. These devices are expected to come out on Verizon, so could this be one of the six devices Verizon’s mystery leak could be suggesting? We shall see.
